Experience

1997 to Present — Consultant, Expert Witness

1996 – 1997 — Associate Cantrell & Harris and Associates. Property Management Company, San Francisco, California – 400 residential Units.

1994 – 1996 — Instructor, in the field of Property Management for the Institute of Real Estate Management “IREM” in over fifty-five cities nationwide.

1992 – 1994 — Executive Director, Lexford Properties, Director of New Business Development, 30,000 residential units.

1989 – 1992 — President, Sierra Capital Asset Management. Direct responsibility for asset management of 14.5 million square feet of office space, facilities, and industrial buildings in 18 major metropolitan areas with assets under management totaling $650 million dollars.

1986 – 1989 — President, The Robert A. McNeil Corporation, San Mateo California. “Purchased in 1986 by Southmark Corporation”. Properties included 203,000 residential units and four million square feet of commercial space.

1977 – 1986 — Senior Vice President, The Robert A. McNeil Corporation, San Mateo California. Direct responsibility for 14 million square feet of office buildings, shopping centers and 53,000 rental units. Direct responsibility for the acquisition of real estate purchased.

1971 – 1977 — President, Remanco, Inc., Chicago, Illinois. A real estate affiliate of Inland Steel Company. Remanco is one of the five operating companies of Inland Steel Urban Development Corporation. Remanco. Managed office buildings and approximately 7,000 apartment units. Appointed to Inland Steel Urban Development Corporation’s Board of Directors in 1972.

1964 – 1971 — Senior Vice President, A.L. Grootemaat & Sons, Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Miller sold his property management firm in 1964 to the Grootemaat Company, joined their organization and assumed the direction and development of the property management division. At Grootemaat, the portfolio included high rise apartments, garden apartments, condominiums cooperatives, office buildings, shopping centers, industrial buildings and gas stations.

1956 – 1971 — Owner, The Bob Miller Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1956, Mr. Miller started his own property management firm, The Bob Miller Company. The company also engaged in real estate investment brokerage and management services for 1,500 units, office buildings and shopping centers.
